Thank you for your interest in volunteering and becoming part of the ABC Team! ABC can always use help in all areas. You could spend time socializing cats and dogs, or if you love animals but are a bit shy, we can use help cleaning, painting, repairing, mailing, and a variety of other tasks.
To Volunteer at ABC
- Read through the Volunteer Guidelines.
- Attend the volunteer orientation. Orientations are listed on the calendar page and take place from 11AM - 12:30 PM.
- Fill out and return the volunteer application form with a $35 donation.
- All ages may volunteer. Children 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
How can I help?
- Visit with and nurture the animals to help them recover, learn, and grow.
- Provide foster care for injured animals who require one on one attention.
- Help set up and work at fundraising events.
- Shelter maintenance and repair - ABC is always in need of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, painters, contractors, roofers, and handymen and women.
- Answer phones, assist with fundraisers, assist with bulk mailing.
