ABC adoptions are carefully prescreened with an application and an interview. This process ensures that the animal is compatible with his or her new family and receives lifetime love, care, commitment, and respect.

Beatrice was found with her good friend Dexter. These two pals would love to find a home together. Beatrice tends to be an instigator, she's a very loving little girl who's looking for someone to spoil her.
Ben | Siberian Husky

This wonderful boy survived a horrible fire sometime between 12.06 and 03.07. He was rescued and brought to ABC in dire shape, unable to open his eyes due to painful burns around his head and face. He was treated in the hospital for six days, and his burns have healed beautifully. Ben is gentle, sweet, well mannered, and loves to give kisses! Ben does well with other dogs and particularly enjoys playtime with his good friends Maia and Pele.

Biscuit is a beautiful, loving sweetheart who is a little hard of hearing, but it doesn't slow her down one bit! Our silver and tan girl enjoys snuggling quietly and playing vigorously in the yards. Biscuit adores people but will do best in a home without cats.
Clarissa | Australian Shepherd mix

Little Stella (adopted!) and her puppies Clarissa, Hera (adopted!), River (adopted!), and Shyla (adopted!) were rescued from a neglect situation. Clarissa is as sweet as molasses, confident, smart, and very energetic. She's great with people and dogs of all ages and enjoys playtime with her friend Jake.

Dakota is the linebacker of the team. He enjoys romping around the yards with his siblings and playing with toys. Like all of his siblings, Dakota is a people lover and is exceptionally bright. Dakota enjoys playtime with other dogs, including Raven and Scout.

Dexter was found with his good friend Beatrice. These two pals would love to find a home together. Dexter is a perfect little angel. He's very well behaved, adores people and gets along very well with other dogs.
Doyle | Australian Shepherd mix

Doyle was rescued from a neglect situation with a painful skin infection. His neck was rubbed raw and sore by a tight chain. Our extraordinary and intelligent brindle-coated Doyle is a sweet and playful young man who loves to cuddle and play outside. Happy and 100% healthy now, he will add love and loyalty to his new home. Doyle enjoys playtime with his friend Katie.
Fiona is a darling, sweet little puppy girl who loves attention, toys, and food... not necessarily in that order. She's extremely bright and is a very fast learner.
Gorda was rescued near death from neglect. She had horrible mange that devoured all of her fur and her top layer of skin. With intensive care involving a specialist over several years, Gorda has fully recovered! Gorda would do best in an active home where she can play ball and would be fine with another dog of slightly smaller size, she enjoys playtime with her friend Winter. Our little orange girl is incredibly appreciative and sweet, and she loves to give hugs and kisses.
Gretel is very gentle and playful, and an exceptional cuddler. She loves to play games or just curl up on the couch and watch TV. Gretel looks and acts like a big, cuddly teddy bear. Gretel gets along well with all types of other dogs.

Jake | Great Dane/Lab mix

Jake is an amazingly handsome young man who came to ABC after being abandoned. He's cautiously optimistic around new people, but he's already overcoming his shyness. Jake enjoys playtime with his friend Clarissa. He also has a white capital "J" on his chest... he's Super Jake!
Katie is a playful little girl with lots of love to give. Sadly, she lost her home due to a death in the family. Active and energetic, Katie can be a little reserved at first, but will be all smiles once she gets to know you. Katie enjoys playtime with her friends Doyle and Zeus.
Luna | Basenji mix

Luna loves to play ball or go for a run, and would do best in a quiet home with adults familiar with the herding breed instincts. This beautiful blonde girl is as bright and sweet as can be.
Maia was rescued from the streets of Phoenix, scared and hungry. She's still getting used to being around people but has made incredible progress since arriving at ABC. A sweet and loving girl once she gets to know you, Maia is exceptionally smart and loves to play ball and play with her stuffed toys. Maia is terriffic with other dogs of all sizes, and is particularly fond of her friend Ben.

Montana is shy at first but is a very loyal and loving girl once she gets to know you. She is exceptionally fond of tummy rubs! Montana is a special needs girl with only one eye and will do best as the only dog in an adult home.
Pele is an extremely sweet girl who loves people. She is exceptionally bright, energetic, and gentle. Pele is very attentive and has already picked up some basic commands, she's also great with other dogs. Pele enjoys playtime with her friends Ben and Maia.

Handsome Pharaoh was dehydrated and emaciated when he was found by a kind soul who was unable to keep him. This sweet, spunky young man has fully recovered and will make a wonderful addition to any home.

Pluto is a handsome, intelligent, highly active boy. We think he is a Border Collie/Lab mix. He is slightly spoiled here at ABC because he is so darn cute! Pluto can sometimes be shy when meeting new people for the first time, but once he knows you, you'll have a friend for life.
Princess is a wonderful girl who can be shy at first but is a sweetie once she gets to know new people. She enjoys playing but also likes to be spoiled with long brushes and doggie massages. She'll have you trained to give her treats on command in no time. :) Princess enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
