You can and should make provisions for your pet(s) in case something happens to you. At the ABC Sanctuary we experience requests from family and/or friends to take in a cat or dog after a love one has passed because they simply don't want the animal. Sometimes this can lead to a difficult process of searching for a place for the animal to be safe and loved as well as forcing ABC to take in animals that we simply do not have room for.
However, through ABC's Continuing Care Program, the Sanctuary does offer an immediate space available as these animals become a planned priority.
ABC guarantees:
> Screened new permanent home placement or lifetime care at its no kill sanctuary where all animals are not locked in cages but enjoy large furnished runs with lots of toys, comfy beds and pet doors leading to protected outdoor play areas available to them all day long.
> ABC never overcrowds. Each animal has space, peace and quiet.
> Each animal receives personal care every day from our professional staff and trained volunteers.
> Healthcare is not compromised in any way. What your pet(s) needs, whatever the medical cost, ABC does it.
We ask for a minimum donation to protect our Sanctuary against financial loss and provide for your pet(s) the best we can!
If you wish to participate in ABC's Continuing Care Program, please contact Dee Kotinas, Executive Director, at 602-971-0839. You can download a PDF of the Agreement HERE. ABC takes the immediate protection of your pet(s) and quick rescue, should this become necessary, very seriously. We do not want your pet(s) to remain alone and uncared for more than a few hours, and we are sure you feel the same way.
Thank you for caring and planning ahead for the love of your pet(s). |
