ABC Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog from ABC.
Adoption Process
- If you currently have pet(s) please DO NOT bring them with you during the first visit.
- If you would like to adopt but are unable to visit ABC during the hours posted on the front page, please contact us to schedule an appointment.
- Complete the cat adoption questionnaire or the dog adoption questionnaire.
- Complete an interview with staff members and schedule an introduction at the shelter.
- All persons and animals living in the home must be present during the introduction.
- Schedule a time with staff to pick up your new family member!
Adoption Donations
- Dogs and puppies: $195
- Cats and kittens: $75
Adoptions include:
- Spay or neuter
- Current vaccinations
- Blood work and fecal tests
- Collar and ID tag
- Food samples
- Dog adoptions include 4 weeks of positive reinforcement training classes
