Our admin staff is 100% volunteer-based. Every dollar donated goes to direct animal care and support. All of ABC’s funding comes from donations and grants.

Beautiful Ivy just arrived and is a little bit shy around new people, but we think she'll be curling up in laps in no time. More info coming soon!
Little Despina is a smart, sweet, and energetic bundle of puppy. She loves people and other dogs and is already having a blast playing fetch with all of her toys.
Stunningly handsome Bandit lost his home when his family lost theirs. He's a big boy who loves everybody he meets, and like our other big friends Ben and Rusty, Bandit thinks he's a lap dog.
Spidey and his kitten pals May, MJ, Ozzie, Parker, Tabitha, Tony, and Zena just arrived. We've posted a video of Spidey, Parker, and Tony playing and being silly on our videos page.

Yappy Hour at Pete & Mac's - THANK YOU!
Thank you to Pete and Mac's and to everyone who stopped by for the Yappy Hour to benefit ABC on the 22nd. Luna and Despina were on hand to meet and greet and they both made lots of new friends. Team ABC needs 4 bowlers!
PACC911 is holding the 8th annual Bowl-a-Rama on Saturday August 7 at AMF Scottsdale lanes. We're looking for four bowlers to bowl for Team ABC from 8:30am-11am! If you're interested in bowling (all skill levels are welcome), send us an email.If you prefer not to bowl but would like to help raise funds, you can download the Bowl-a-Rama pledge form here, or phone the neighbors and wake the relatives and point them at the ABC website so they can donate online with the button at the top of this page! Thank you, Adam!
Adam, one of our wonderful volunteers, recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. Adam declined gifts and instead asked his friends and family if they would bring donations for ABC, and... WOW! Adam certainly went above and beyond! He shared the list of items on ABC's wishlist with his group, just check out the incredible haul he was able to rally for all of the animals!

Maia was rescued from the streets of Phoenix, scared and hungry. She's a sweet and loving girl once she gets to know you, she's an excellent listener, is EXCEPTIONALLY smart, and loves to play ball. Maia is terriffic with other dogs of all types and sizes, and adores her friends Ben and Chaucer.
Maia likes to help Despina with the lawn irrigation, but she thinks that using a bucket is inefficient. Instead, she dunks herself into her play pool and rolls around in the grass. It does twice the job in half the time, and it's also lots of fun.
